It’s almost winter, and we all know what that means…. CROCK POT RECIPE MADNESS!
I’m a firm believer that you can never have enough crock pot recipes under your belt. So I’m here to deliver a really s that will knock your socks off, and impress the whole family!
2 pounds thawed deer steak (or any type of steak) – I used whitetail round steaks
3 cups of beef broth
Carrots, parsley, onions, scallions
3 garlic cloves
3 medium sized potatoes
Salt and Pepper
Add the beef broth to the crock pot and turn the heat on high.
Peel and slice the potatoes and throw them in the beef broth. They will need to cook the longest.
Mince the garlic cloves and throw into the crock pot as well.
Chop the onions, carrots, parsley, and scallions and toss them in.
Season with salt and pepper, steak seasoning of your choice, chilli pepper, and cayenne pepper for a bit of a “kick”.
Cook for 4 hours or until steak is cooked to your liking!
Note: you will probably want to cut steak into bite sized pieces before serving unless it’s a roast. Roasts tend to break apart as they cook.
It’s as simple as that! LOVE LOVE LOVE this recipe.
